Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a security layer to your account: beyond the password, a 6-digit code generated by an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password) is required. To enable in InMaps: go to Settings → Account → Security → Enable 2FA. The system shows a QR code — scan it with your authenticator app, which will generate codes that change every 30 seconds. Confirm setup by entering the current code. After activation, every login will require the code alongside your password. Backup codes (10 single-use codes) are auto-generated — save them in a secure location to recover access if you lose your phone. 2FA is strongly recommended for all users and mandatory for Team plan administrators.
